Excavation

Our equipment includes a 5 yd dump truck, a 6000 lb excavator, a stand-on tracked skid steer, and a self-propelled stump grinder. Because it is a requirement that all contractors in Washington who hold current licenses are bonded and insured, the state forbids contractors from specifically advertising that they are bonded and insured. We are also a part-time business and as such we prefer jobs that can be completed in three days or less. We will consider larger jobs if the customer will work within our schedule limitations.

Stump Grinding and Removal

We can grind any size stump and above-ground roots. In addition, we can rototill root mats and use the grinder to remove shrubs. On level ground we can go to 13” deep. Yard access gates must be at least 36” wide for us to gain entry with equipment. Service can usually be completed within one week — no more than two. Customers always get to keep the mess for FREE! If we dispose of the mess it is disposed of by weight and we can’t know how heavy everything is until the chips are dropped off at the disposal site. Therefore the charge is largish to account for the unknown.

Hi Jesse, I appreciate that you came to my home at 6pm on a Friday to give me a bid for the water line leak and also some good advice. We had concerns about the Birch tree in our front yard and were hoping the water line could be replaced without damaging the tree. Land Maintenance

We pull underbrush or trees for thinning, and forest fire fuel reduction. We can discuss slash disposal options. We offer brush control, gravel driveway/private road repair, and gravel resurfacing. If your land has problem drainage areas we have options to address those.

Concrete

Old Red installs and replaces flatwork such as walkways, hot tub pads, patios, driveways and floors. Due to a shortage of experienced finishers we do not currently offer exotic finishes — currently trowel or broom finish only.
